Visiting the board of AxoStim startup from the National Brain Mapping Laboratory (NBML)

AxoStim members visited the National Brain Mapping Laboratory (NBML) on Monday, June 24, 2024, intending to get familiar with the facilities of this laboratory. The meeting was attended by AxoStim members, Dr. Jafari (AxoStim founder), Mr. Bayat, Dr. Heydari, Dr. Tirgar, and Dr. Amiri, and members of NBML, Mr. Rostami, Mr. Shaban, Mr. Kazemi and Mrs. Karimi under the director of Dr. Oghabian. During the meeting, general information was presented about the laboratory and its various types of equipment, including functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and Electromyography (EMG). The NBML experts explained the background of the devices and how each of them works. They provided AxoStim members with a comprehensive explanation of the mentioned devices. Also, each group presented their points of view on collaboration between AxoStim and NBML, including the possibility of utilizing the mentioned devices to evaluate brain activity after brain stimulation with the device designed and developed by AxoStim.
